We are two friends brought together by a love of sea glass and silver. Inspired by living so close to the stunning Cornish Coast and collecting sea glass and shells on the Rame Peninsular.
We are often asked about the name Tegenarvor. The name we eventually chose for our business was a blending of two Cornish words, Tegen meaning jewel
We are two friends brought together by a love of sea glass and silver. Inspired by living so close to the stunning Cornish Coast and collecting sea glass and shells on the Rame Peninsular.
We are often asked about the name Tegenarvor. The name we eventually chose for our business was a blending of two Cornish words, Tegen meaning jewel or pretty and Arvor meaning coast .
This symbolises the love that we have for our gorgeous county and our passion for creating beautiful pieces of jewellery.
All of our jewellery is handmade in two studios on the banks of the River Tamar, where there is a history of mining silver in the area dating back to the early 1800's. One of our locations is the former Count House for the old silver mine.
We are delighted that we now have our own Tegenarvor hallmark from the London Assay Office.
